The current Cisco certification ends in February 2019
Cisco is preparing a completely new certifications, exams and courses. The existing ones will be available until February 23, 2020 only. So do not hesitate to apply for courses and take exams so that you have complete knowledge before the end of February 2020. The old certification will be still valid after the migration to the new system, but only the new ones will be able to gain.
